Meditation: Astonishing Meditation
In meditation, the object of concentration is not any physical object, like a flower or a candle but it is the 'inner' self or the soul, which is a star like point of conscient energy or a being of spiritual light situated between the eyebrows. Meditation does not involve the repetition of a mantra. Instead of repeating one word or phrase as in a mantra, a flow of positive thoughts is encouraged, thus using the mind in a natural way. Using the power of thought, the mind is guided to take a new, positive course each time. These positive thoughts are based on an accurate understanding of the self and so act as a key to unlock the treasure trove of peaceful experiences lying within
